Jackie Verdura is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York, having earned Master Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College. Jackie’s pre-graduate education includes a Bachelor degree in interpersonal and organizational communication, earned from the State University of New York college at Brockport. In addition to her state license, she is also a trained DBT professional, a credentialed substance abuse counselor, and attends monthly trainings to ensure that she is up to date on her clinical practices and skills.
Jackie Verdura specializes in the treatment of anxiety, relationships and self esteem. She believes in meeting her clients where they are at, whether seeking help for the first time or wanting a new approach. She is a warm and attuned therapist who will actively listen to fully understand your history, current stressors, and goals to provide authentic feedback, guidance, and tools to change unhealthy behaviors. Her approach is strength-based, collaborative and is shaped to meet the needs of each client..
Jackie works with a non for profit as population health director. In this position she is able to work with multiple community partners to identify social, behavioral and medical needs of their clients. Jackie and her team are able to work alongside these community based organizations to establish necessary workflows and collect data that will be later used to evaluation the pilot programs. The population health team will also work with the partner to evaluate the pilot program and deliver a written evaluation which outlines the impact of the program and will lend to the sustainability .of the continued efforts in the community.
Jackie also holds a google data analytics professional certificate. This allows her to combine her subject matter expertise in the areas of behavioral and population health with the ability to organize and present data from a variety of sources.
